1/2 Life Size
This half life-size anatomical Human Skeleton Model 85cm, standing 85 cm tall, features movable and removable arms and legs. The rest of the joints are fixed.
The skull is in two parts and detachable, with a lower jaw that is movable by a spring. Anatomical details, including seams, protrusions, and fissures, are accurately depicted.
USES:
The model serves as a visual aid for teaching physiology and hygiene courses. It helps students understand the relationship between the human body figure and the skeleton, and can also be used to study the morphology of bones and the construction of joints.
DEMONSTRATIONS:
An adult male skeleton is positioned in a standing posture. (The hyoid bone and ear ossicles are not represented.) The joints of the upper and lower extremities are movable.
- Skull:
- Composed of 22 bones with serrated suture lines marked. The calvarium is transversely cut to reveal the interior structures of the skull. The mandible is movable, and 3 lower teeth—incisor, cuspid, and molar—are removable.
- Vertebral Column: Consists of 7 cervical vertebrae, 12 thoracic vertebrae, 5 lumbar vertebrae, a sacrum, a coccyx, and 23 intervertebral discs. The vertebral column displays four curvatures: cervical and lumbar curvatures (convex forward), and thoracic and sacral curvatures (convex backward).
- Bony Pelvis: Composed of the sacrum, coccyx, and two hip bones.
- Bony Thorax: Consists of 24 ribs, costal cartilages, and a sternum. It includes 7 pairs (1-7) of true ribs, 3 pairs (8-10) of false ribs, and 2 pairs (11-12) of floating ribs.
- Bones of Upper Extremities: Composed of 64 separable bones. The pectoral girdle (scapula and clavicle) is fixed to the bony thorax, while the remaining parts of the upper extremities can be detached. The main joints (shoulder, elbow, and wrist) are movable.
- Bones of Lower Extremities: Composed of 62 separable bones. The pelvic girdle (hip bone) is fixed to form the bony pelvis, while the remaining parts of the lower extremities can be detached. The main joints (hip, knee, and ankle) are movable.
CONSTRUCTION:
The model is made of PVC plastic.
The Anatomical Human Skeleton Model, measuring 85cm in height, is an essential educational tool. With its realistic and detailed construction, this model is ideal for students, educators, and medical professionals.
Additionally, the skeleton is crafted from durable materials, ensuring long-lasting use. Notably, each bone is accurately represented, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy. Furthermore, the model is designed to be easily assembled and disassembled, making it convenient for transport and storage. Overall, this anatomical skeleton model provides an invaluable resource for in-depth anatomical study.
